Summer Creates Fun Activities For Her Kids
When the directive came to stay at home, one Mum on the Yarrabilba Community page, Summer Bostock, went about creating a range of fun activities for her children to do.
When we asked about the activities, Summer said the following:
“Ok so some things we have done: camping in the backyard because our camping trip was canceled, we enjoyed mini marshmallows roasted over candles and glow sticks to add to the fun. We have made sure we get out exercise in for the whole family and the dog of course. We do drive in movies … in the boot haha. We put together a cardboard cubby house and painted it, we’ve done chalk on the pathways and chalk on the fence to learn our letters. Once on the fence and you say the letter you use a paintbrush with water and trace over them. We’ve set up a pool in the backyard and hey even in the rain the kids make it fun. Then they climb the walls and crash onto a mattress, normally we wouldn’t but hey we are in crazy times so why not relax a little, then just suck up the kids haha. .. we have even been going through old classic movies. Those were the activities I can at least say we thought of…minus the chalk since that’s been all over fb!”
Thanks Summer, it looks like it’s a load of fun being trapped in isolation at your house!
