Hills New Primary & Secondary Captains Inducted
Hills International College is looking forward to another year of growth, change and success in 2022.
Our new Primary and Secondary leaders have been inducted and are committed to ensuring our college community continues to be a compassionate, welcoming, and supportive place to belong.
It is an honour to introduce our 2022 Primary Captains, Carter Lynwood and Amelia Townsend. Supporting them will be Vice Captains Angel Larcombe and Kate Weir. With the primary school growing by an unprecedented four additional classes in 2022, our Primary leaders will be instrumental in working with students and teachers to maintain the integrity and success of our ethos and values. This process begins by welcoming over 70 Prep students with the ongoing Buddy Program. The Primary leaders will continue with their student engagement focus by running various lunchtime activities, hosting assemblies, and rewarding compassionate acts.
Our 2022 Secondary Captains are Jett Baker and Elektra McMillan, aided by Vice Captains Taidyn Nardello and Matilda Glover. Working together with a dedicated team of Prefects and House Captains, our Secondary leaders will continue the long tradition of school and community support and fundraising in 2022, beginning with our Year 7 transition program in Term 1.
We are also enhancing our extra-curricular programs, with the expansion of our highly successful Volleyball Program.
In 2022 we expect to continue our consistent level of representative selection for volleyball, and several of our students are beginning to explore scholarship opportunities overseas thanks to their participation in the Volleyball Program.
