Mundoolun Estate Christmas Carols Festivity
Community-based group the Mundoolun Estate Community Environmental Group (MECEG) held the Mundoolun Estate Christmas Carols on 19 November for local families to enjoy an affordable night of festive fun without breaking the bank!
During the evening, the family of Indigo Dusk drummer Frank Dolton (who sadly passed away in September), circulated through the audience of local residents asking for nominations of a neighbour who has ‘done good things in the community’ in honour of the Sergeant Frank Dolton Award. Not surprisingly, the majority of the audience nominated for the inaugral award, extremely community-minded organiser of the event for the community, MECEG President Raj Aggarwal. The evening of the heartfelt celebration was completed with a fantastic display of fireworks.
