40m Camo Course at Balls and Beats
Yarrabilba families had an afternoon of fun, food, and music at Balls & Beats, on Saturday 16th October. The event, at McKinnon Sports Park, was organised by Rekon Youth Organisation. Activities included live music, a 40-metre camo course, laser tag, a dunk tank, and jumping castles.

Logan City Council also attended promoting their Active and Healthy Program. Kids enjoyed the free popcorn and fairy floss. Organiser Rolando Pisia said the event was to “get the community together!”.

Rekon holds a weekly program at Yarrabilba State Secondary College for young people aged 12 to 18 years. The program offers sports, creative workshops, music production, electronic games and dinner every Thursday afternoon. Rekon is looking for more community helpers for the program.
