Temperatures Rose @ CHILLOGAN Festival … !
Organiser Scarlett Habanero said temperatures were going to rise for the fourth annual Chillogan Chilli Festival held in Logan Village in November – and was she not she kidding! Not only were the chillis hot – the weather felt hotter than even the hottest, spiciest chilli – which was pretty hot – so hot, hot all around – but a fabulous day for all who braved the heat!
The dogs in the Pet Domain Cutest Chilli Dog Competition and the VIP Dog Training Display took the heat in their stride and had a great time, and the dancers from Badance gave a spicy performance! There were many cooking demonstrations, and a chilli growing workshop by Infusion Chilli Farm. Hellfire Alley was filled with amazing chilli displays and stalls, with the Afterburn Bar at the ready to take the heat out! Various groups such as the Logan Village Rural Fire Service, Logan Village SES, Voices Outreach Service, Car & Motorcycle Displays, and Pony Rides attended, as well as Indigenous Craft with Colleen Sam.
A very cool (yet very hot) day was had by all chilli enthusiasts!
